Functions and Components

Key functions and components of the MARC include support for entrepreneurial activities, research and academic innovation, and technical support structure. 

Entrepreneurial Activities

MARC funds a wide range of campus entrepreneurial activities, which have recently been consolidated into the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Research and Academic Innovation

The MARC actively seeks to develop new initiatives to advance the university research enterprise.  

 

Technical Support Structure

The MARC provides funding for scientific instrumentation, Shared Research Operations within the College of Science & Engineering, the Advanced Prototyping Laboratory, and Science, Technology, and Advanced Research (STAR) Park.
